These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order with us you agree to the terms and conditions as set out below. These terms and conditions may be changed at any time without notice, and we, therefore, recommend that you check these each time you visit the site.

How to Order

  1. Browse for products using our online catalogue.
  2. Select required item(s) and add them to your shopping basket. Contents of the basket can be checked and amended at any time by using the "View Basket" function.
  3. When you are happy with your order, continue through the Checkout to payment. We accept payment by MasterCard, Visa, Paypal & Maestro.

 We will take all reasonable care to keep the details of your order and payment secure.  We do not hold or store any of your credit or debit card details on our systems (see "Secure Payment" page). In the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our Website.

Contract Formation

Your placing of an order and our subsequent order acknowledgement does not constitute the formation of a contract. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch to you of the products ordered (unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order).

Secure Payment

All payments are processed through Sagepay, the largest online payment service provider in the UK. As a result, we do not hold any of your card details on our systems. Full details of the Sagepay privacy and security policies can be found on their website at Payment is made at the time your order is placed.

Upon registration you will choose a confidential password. You will be responsible for all orders placed through your account so you should make sure that you keep your details safe and confidential.

Prices, Offers & Presentation

All prices we show on the website are inclusive of VAT. Delivery costs are charged in addition to the product price and included in the total cost. Any additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the total cost. Please visit our delivery information page for more information on delivery charges.

Prices and special offers shown are representative for orders placed on this website only and we reserve the right to price products or offer promotions such as multi-buys differently in store or on other platforms.

We always aim to ensure that all details, descriptions, images and prices appearing on this website are accurate, but from time to time errors may occur. Images shown should only be used as a guide, colours may be affected by the device the website is viewed on and its settings.

Where we have made an error in the price, images, descriptions or details of an item on our site we reserve the right to withdraw this item from sale at this price and present it at the correct price, images, details and descriptions. If you have placed an order at the incorrect price or with any incorrect images, descriptions and details we will inform you of the error prior to dispatch and give you the opportunity to confirm your order at the correct price / with the correct details, descriptions and images, or cancel the order.


While we endeavour to keep our stock levels accurate on our website, there are occasions when items have been sold/removed and have not been removed from sale online. If an order is placed and we find the product to be unavailable, or undeliverable, you will be refunded for that item. We do not offer substitutions for out of stock items.

Limitation of Liability

We will only be liable for losses which are foreseeable to both you and us as a consequence of us breaching these terms and caused by our own negligence. We will not be responsible for any commercial or business losses (including without limit loss of goodwill, profits, contracts, anticipated savings, data, or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us at the time our contract was formed, or at the time you began using the website.  We do not exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

These terms shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the relevant United Kingdom law. The courts of the United Kingdom will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, dispute or other matters arising from these terms, your use of the website or the supply of products by us.

What are the WEEE Regulations?

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires UK distributors to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of WEEE. UK retailers are required to provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. As a responsible retailer, we have met these requirements by offering all customers buying new electrical and electronic equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like for like basis. Products which are classed as WEEE must display a crossed out wheeled bin symbol on the product; or if this is not possible the symbol must be displayed on the packaging, the instruction leaflet and the warranty. The symbol allows you to identify WEEE products and dispose of them separately from other household waste when it reaches the end of its useful life.


Terms & Conditions for Events

Highway Garden & Leisure is a trading name of Roys (Wroxham) LTD. When you confirm your purchase, you are accepting these terms and conditions between Roys (Wroxham) Ltd and yourself.

Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be re-sold to a 3rd party for their use.

Tickets are only valid for the date and time selected and specified on the order confirmation and cannot be used for entry to the same event on a different time or date. All times are GMT / GMT with daylight saving time, whichever is applicable for that date in the UK. We reserve the right to refuse entry to events for late arrivals.

Some events are intended for babies, some for children, some for adults, and some are suitable for a combination. This will be clear on the product page when making your booking. Unless otherwise stated on the event page a baby will be deemed as 6-12 months old, a child will be deemed as 1-12 years old and adults as 13 or over.

Unless otherwise stated, tickets for an adult intended event may be purchased for a child (1-12), and / or a child ticket may be purchased for an adult (13+) if you wish for them to take part in the activity provided for that age range.

Children aged 1-12 years old may accompany an adult to an adult intended invent without a ticket, however they will not be able to take part in the activity provided. Similarly an adult (13+) may accompany a child to an event intended for children without a ticket but will not take part in the activity other than to supervise and / or assist their child. We must be notified within a reasonable period prior to an event about any children accompanying any adults to an event intended for adults to ensure there will be space for the children. We reserve the right to deny entry to any persons that do not have a ticket if they cannot be accommodated in the space, or for health and safety reasons.

Babies (under 12 months) may accompany an adult to an event intended for children or adults without needing a purchased ticket, however they will not take part in the activity provided. If you would like a child under 1 years old to take part in an activity (for instance making a craft item) then you must purchase the relevant ticket for them.

In the case of events deemed suitable for babies (6-12 months) it is the responsibility of the parent(s) or guardian(s) to assess if it is suitable for their baby to attend. Newborns (under 6 months) may accompany another baby/child to an event deemed suitable for babies if this is necessary for the purposes of childcare, however they will not take part in the activity provided. If you would like a newborn to take part in an activity (for instance receiving a gift from Santa) then you must purchase the relevant ticket for them.

In any circumstance you purchase a ticket for a person in the age range the event is not intended for, you are assuming responsibility for determining that event is age appropriate for the person the ticket is purchased for. However, we reserve the right to prevent someone taking part in an event in the interest of health and safety, if this is the case you will not be entitled to a refund.

In all instances the total number of people without a ticket accompanying a ticket holder may not exceed 3 people per ticket holder. All children under 16 must be accompanied by at least one supervising adult (18+) at all times that assumes responsibility for the child(ren).

Dogs are permitted at Highway Garden & Leisure, except for in the restaurant & café or inside the area where an event is being held (except for assistance animals). This is for food safety reasons and out of respect for other attendees of an event who may have phobias or allergies.

If you are attending an event where food or drinks are provided please use the comments box provided when booking or email us at [email protected] prior to the event if you have any dietary requirements. We aim to meet any dietary requirements where possible, provided enough notice is given. If we cannot meet a dietary requirement and you have already booked your event we will refund you provided there is more than 72 hours between you notifying us and the event. We reserve the right to substitute food and drink items with lower value alternatives or provide smaller portions in our attempt to meet dietary requirements.

Photography is allowed at events, however please be respectful of other attendees of the event and customers at Highway. In particular please try to avoid including other people’s children in any photographs you take. If we receive complaints about photographs being taken or our staff witness inappropriate photography then you may be asked to delete photographs and / or be asked to leave.

Occasionally our staff may take photographs at events for marketing purposes. Our staff won’t take photographs of you or your child where you are the main subject of the photograph without your prior permission. If any photographs are taken where you or your child are not the main subject but visible and identifiable (such as in the background) we will either seek to gain permission retrospectively, edit the picture so that you and / or your child are no longer identifiable (such as blurring faces or cropping the image), or delete the picture if necessary. Any photographs taken are not guaranteed to be used in marketing materials and we offer no remuneration for your inclusion in a photograph. If you have any concerns about the photography a staff member is conducting please either raise your concern with them, or if you do not feel comfortable doing so, with another member of staff, or contact [email protected].

Unless otherwise stated, all events at Highway Garden & Leisure are group bookings where you will share the time and space of your activity with other attendees. Please be mindful of the other attendees in your booking. We will not tolerate offensive, abusive or threatening behaviour to any visitors or staff. If we receive any complaints about, or our staff witness any inappropriate behaviour during an event, we may ask the individual and / or their party to leave. In the unlikely event this happens you will not be entitled to a refund for the event.

Admission to any event is at your own risk. Highway Garden & Leisure will not be held liable for any loss, injuries, damages or emotional distress sustained at, during or following an event, including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles. We will however abide by all (English) laws, and act accordingly to ensure your statutory rights are unaffected.

Event Refund, Cancellations & Booking Amendments

If you would like to cancel or amend your booking for an event you must email [email protected]. This email must be received by us at least 72 hours prior to the event start and will be assessed by us based on the proximity to and popularity of the event. Refund or booking amendments will not be offered to requests with less than 72 hours notice. All requests for cancellations or ammendments must be made by the person who made the booking, using the same email address as the booking was made under.

If you ask us to amend your booking we will assess your request based on the availability of any times / dates you request as a replacement booking. Having made a booking for one date and time does not entitle you to a booking at another date and time. We cannot accept any responsibility for any consequential loss if availability changes in the period between making your request and our attempts to accommodate your request.

Assessments to a request for an amendment or cancellation may take up to 72 hours after we receive the request. If during this time period the date and time for booking passes prior to us being able to assess your request then no refund will be issued.

In the rare circumstance that the ticketed event is found to be unsatisfactory we will require feedback to be provided within 7 days of attending the event. All feedback must be sent to [email protected] and will be considered on an individual basis. Refunds after the event are at our sole discretion.

If an event is cancelled for a particular time and date we will use reasonable method(s) to notify you as soon as possible, including (if applicable) notifying you of the details of any re-scheduled dates and times (subject to availability) or similar events already scheduled. If you are not able to attend the rescheduled event or an already scheduled similar event we will provide you with a full refund.

Refunds or any other type of compensation will not be available for disruption of an event which is from situations beyond the control of Highway Garden & Leisure.

If you are refused entry to an event due to late arrival or any other reason refunds will only be issued at our discretion. If you are unable to attend an event you will not be entitled to a refund.

All refunds will be made via your original payment method within 7 working days.


Facebook Free Prize Draw Term & Conditions

  • The promoter is: Roys (Wroxham) Limited (company registration number: 00256574) whose registered office is at The Hoveton Centre, Stalham Road, Hoveton St John, Norwich, Norfolk, NR12 8DB.

  • The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
