Silver Spoon

Not only is Silver Spoon the only sugar grown in Great Britain, it's also grown in East Anglia! Their sugar beet is grown on farms across East Anglia and the East Midlands before being transported on average 28 miles to one of their four processing plants, two of which are in Norfolk. There the sugar beet is processed to produce a syrup and then crystallised. They use the by products from the process to create animal feed, top soil and even energy as well as other things. The whole process results in less than 200g of waste for every tonne of sugar produced!
